RVers and overlanders who experience difficulties with cellular data reception are increasingly opting for satellite-based Starlink internet service. SeaSucker announced its new Starlink Dish Mounting solutions, designed to make the technology switch simple.
SeaSucker offers two versions. The Starlink Dish Mounting Kit is designed for use with a horizontally mounted Starlink Flat High Performance Dish, with or without the wedge base. The Starlink Pole Mount accommodates a dish with an integrated tubular mount, making it ideal for vertical and angled locations.
Both versions install using SeaSucker’s Vacuum Mount technology. Unlike industrial suction cups that decline in holding power in a day, each of the 4.5-inch mounts provide 120 pounds of adherence for long periods and in any weather. The Starlink Dish Mounting Kit uses four such mounts, while the Pole Mount model uses three. This translates to 480 and 360 pounds of strength, respectively.
SeaSucker Starlink Dish Mounts are easy to install on any nonporous surface. Once positioned, each Vacuum Mount power button is pumped until the orange bar disappears. When it’s time to stow the Starlink dish, the devices remove quickly without leaving a mark. A video is available here.
Made in the USA, the SeaSucker Starlink Dish Mounting Kit costs $199. The Starlink Pole Mount version runs $175. Both are available in black or white.
