Sika Exhibiting at Glass Expo Pacific Northwest

Sika Corp., a supplier of glass bonding solutions, will exhibit at the Glass Expo Pacific Northwest from May 30 to June 1 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Bellevue, Wash.

Sika will showcase its full line of vertical glass silicone and polyurethane sealants and adhesives, products intended for facades, windows and doors, and small commercial and residential flat glass applications.

The SikaGlaze GG-735 helps in embedding glass walls and balustrades. The solvent-free, self-leveling, two-part polyurethane grout cures at room temperature, and delivers high-strength for fixation of large panels.

Sikasil engineered structural silicone solutions for manufacturing, field construction and installation of commercial glass facades will also be on display. Sika will also exhibit high performing residential hurricane-rated impact and general window back bedding glazing products, as well as its full line of installation sealants and adhesives.

“Sika is excited about the expansion of our vertical glass product range and engineering services for the facades, fenestration and insulating glass industry as well as our flat glass business,” said John Babun, national manager of vertical glass.

Additionally, Sika’s business development manager, Florian Doebbel, will do a presentation on structural silicone applications highlighting the trends in glass bonding.

The presentation will highlight impacts on insulating glass, structural glazing and glass composites. Opportunities and challenges will be discussed based on projects showing practical impacts on engineering and aesthetics.

“Florian recently joined Sika Corp. as the business development manager after spending the last 7 years working for Sika AG as their corporate market field engineer focusing on facades and insulating glass,” said Babun.

Sika will exhibit at table No. 413 at Glass Expo Pacific Northwest.
