Sika Corp., a premier supplier of advanced adhesive and sealant solutions to the Recreational Vehicle market is proud to announce its first ever Sika Driving Technologies event June 20, in Elkhart, Ind.
Sika Driving Technologies will focus on demonstrating industry-leading technologies used in vehicle sealing, bonding, acoustic damping and other applications. As well, the event will present an overview of current and future manufacturing methods that can employ Sika technologies to increase production, reduce labor costs and improve vehicle quality.
The Sika Driving Technologies event will offer a fresh look at Sika’s current and future transportation product range and will include innovations from Sika’s other business divisions that can be transferred to the RV industry.
Acoustic and safety technologies from Sika’s Automotive group will be on display, as well as new roofing innovations presented by Sika Sarnafil. Sika flooring concepts will be displayed to help bridge the gap between entry-level flooring and high-end ceramic materials – while also helping manufacturers reduce weight and improve the RV unit’s overall acoustic profile.
“We have good contacts inside the RV industry today, but we are looking to improve and develop new relationships so we can bring new ideas and solutions to the designers on future product lines,” says RV Business Development Manager Bill Buraczewski.

The event will be organized in a trade-show format – with sample products and demonstration areas open for visitors. Members of Sika’s R&D and Technical Service teams will be on hand to facilitate one-on-one conversations and hand-on product experiences. Additionally, formal presentations with Q&A will be held throughout the day to delve deeper into specific manufacturing applications and product engineering topics.
