Sobel University is reporting a 60 percent increase in winter enrollment over last year.
The Atlanta Comprehensive Sales Course in November and the December Pace-setters Course in Tacoma both exceed 100 students, with more expected to register in the coming week, according to the company.
“This surge in enrollment is largely due to the growth our clients are experiencing. They know that in order to retain their professional staff, they need to provide on-going training each year,” said Randy Sobel, Sobel University president. “Our dealers rotate their staff through each winter, so their salespeople have the tools to help today’s consumers when the season hits.”
The Comprehensive Sales Course is a three- to five-day, boot camp-style class. Students can expect eight hours of classroom instruction with homework every night and exams every day. Role-playing situations are incorporated to help them sharpen skills. Dealers have reported a drastic increase in sales volume upon their staff’s successful completion of this class.
