Society of Certified RV Professionals Honors Four

Four dealership employees, who have maintained their certifications, were recently recognized for their long-term commitment to professionalism in their fields during the RV Dealers Association’s convention/expo in early November. The annual reception was sponsored by Protective Asset Protection.

Honorees for 2018 are:

In addition to plaques, the honorees received leather jackets from Prime Time Mfg., products from Northern Wholesale Supply, and baseball caps and polo shirts from Society chairman Mick Ferkey of Greeneway RV Sales and Service, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. The Society also provided scholarships to the honorees for them to the attend the reception and convention.

Dealerships need to showcase their fixed-ops employees to customers during the delivery process, says A World of Training Vice President David Foco, who spoke at the reception.  Fixed-ops staff work hard to train and certify in their fields, and they deserve to be recognized. Foco shared techniques for promoting the dealership’s service, parts, and warranty talent during his presentation.

The Mike Molino RV Learning Center Board of Directors initiated the Society in 2014 to increase the number of RV industry certified professionals and to retain those who already hold certification credentials. The Society is aimed at individuals who hold or aspire to association certification credentials including: RVDA and RV Industry Association technician certification, which includes Certified and Master; RV Learning Center certification, which includes service writer/advisor, service manager, parts manager, parts specialist, and warranty administrator.
