The Society of Certified RV Professionals will host a special awards ceremony, followed by an educational presentation and then a reception, during the 2021 RV Dealers Convention/Expo on Monday, Nov. 8, from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. PT at Paris Las Vegas. The annual event is designed to recognize and promote professional certification in the RV industry.
The event will kick off by recognizing several individuals who have maintained their professional certifications for many years and were selected as this year’s recipients of the Society’s convention/expo scholarship. The event is sponsored by Protective Asset Protection. Recipients are provided with two nights’ hotel in the convention/expo room block, a convention registration and round-trip airfare. In addition, thanks to th Inc., Bob Martin of Thor Industries, Jerry McCarthy of Grand Design, and Don Gunden of Forest River, each contributed $1,000 to kick off the funding of a meal per diem.
The 2021 scholarship recipients will also receive leather jackets, sponsored by Forest River Flagstaff, and polo shirts and hats, sponsored by Northern Wholesale Supply. All badge-wearing, convention/expo-registered attendees that support professional certification are welcome to attend. Thanks to the support of Grand Design Recreational Vehicles, reception attendees will be eligible to participate in a drawing for an Apple iPad Pro 256GB.
Following the awards, RVDA speaker Mike Bensi will present “Making Your Employee Experience Your Competitive Advantage.” During this educational session, Bensi will focus on the importance of the employee experience within today’s fight for talent, the core components of a strong employee experience and strategies for companies and leaders to grow their employee experience and be a differentiator from other companies.
