Spartan Specialty Vehicles will feature two of its custom heavy-duty, Class A diesel chassis – the K3 605 for the Entegra Cornerstone – and the K2 450 for the Newmar Dutch Star, at the National RV Trade Show next week.
Both chassis platforms will be wrapped in the stars and stripes of the American flag. The 45-foot Entegra Cornerstone, riding on Spartan’s K3 605 chassis, features a Cummins X15 605 horsepower diesel engine, an Allison Transmission 4000 MH 6-speed electronic transmission, a 20,000-pound independent front suspension, and boasts a 20,000-pound towing capacity.
The Newmar Dutch Star, riding on Spartan’s K2 450 chassis, features a Cummins L9 diesel engine, an Allison 3000MH Transmission, and has a 15,000-pound towing capacity.
“As one of the largest industry trade events, the National RV Trade Show is the principal event to demonstrate Spartan’s commitment to excellence in RV innovation and design,” said Daryl Adams, president and CEO of Spartan Motors.
In addition to coach-specific chassis, Spartan will also exhibit its chassis-specific part kits, which are available to both dealers and its hundreds of Spartan Authorized Service Centers. These Spartan-chassis parts kits supply the correct parts needed for annual motorhome chassis maintenance. Unique to Spartan, these chassis parts kits help the ordering process, and allow for resale to existing customers, as well as those purchasing a new coach.
“Showcasing our chassis-specific part kits at RVIA is an extraordinary opportunity for us to further support our dealer and service network, and provide better support and service for the retail customer,” said Steve Guillaume, president of Spartan Specialty Vehicles.
