Spartan Motors recently hosted dozens of key supply chain partners at its 15th Annual Supplier Conference, which took place near the company’s headquarters in Charlotte, Mich.
Luis Silva, Spartan’s corporate director, procurement and supply chain management recognized companies that helped Spartan progress its continuous improvement initiatives and increase supplier quality in 2017.

To meet those standards, we work with the best and brightest suppliers to exceed expectations and reach the highest levels of operational excellence and cost competitiveness,” said Silva. “We sincerely value our supplier network and the efforts they exert to support our commitment to continuous improvement.”
Each supplier honored consistently maintains a commitment to quality, on-time delivery, total cost control and customer support, as identified by the Spartan team and its ongoing audit procedures.
The companies exemplifying those attributes, and beyond, were presented the Spartan “President’s Award” during the 2017 Supplier Conference. The winners included Cummins, PPG, and Reflex.
