It’s called the Mode LT, and it’s the most affordable of Storyteller Overland’s camper range.
The brand is known for its Mercedes Sprinter-based motorhomes. Last year, it launched a refreshed lineup of Mode camper vans, called the Beast, Stealth and Classic, which basically laid down options for off-road-capable motorhome buyers in the U.S.
The Alabama-based company has been toying around with the idea of using the Ford Transit platform, but the two-wheel drivetrain employed some limitations to what Storyteller Overland wanted to accomplish.
Thanks to the addition of AWD on the Transit in 2019, the Storyteller Overland proceeds with its goal of making a Ford Transit-based camper van – the Mode LT.
