Birmingham, Ala.-based Storyteller Overland, a manufacturer of Class B motorhomes, has added Timothy Morgan to its national sales and business development team.
Morgan steps into the newly created position of vice president of national sales, where he will promote “Storyteller’s vibrant culture, innovative product range, and unique relationship-driven business model to the company’s rapidly growing nationwide dealer network,” the company says.
Morgan comes from a family background in RVs, with multiple generations of success in the business, his new company says. He personally began his tenure working around RVs by washing campers as a teenager and then eventually worked his way up through the ranks to high-level sales positions for brands such as Roadtrek/Hymer North America, and then following Roadtrek’s acquisition by the French conglomerate Rapido/Westfalia, Morgan was retained by the new management to help re-introduce the Roadtrek brand to the industry.
Asked what drew him to want to join forces with a smaller startup manufacturer like Storyteller Overland, Morgan said, “Simply put, it was the integrity, quality and culture of what Storyteller is building. I wanted to be a part of a team that is absolutely revolutionizing the way business gets done and customers’ expectations get exceeded in our industry.”
Added Andrew Cooley, Storyteller Overland’s vice president of business development and co-founder, “When you are fully committed to constantly building a high-quality product and supporting your dealers, your customers, and your people in ways no one has ever seen before, you can attract rock star level talent to your team … and we are confident that Timothy is going to take us to another level. We are so happy to welcome him to the Storyteller family.”
