SuperSprings International said it has partnered with Fort Worth, Texas, dealership United RV Center in what is a new, exclusive deal. As of May 14, every travel trailer that passes through United RVs dealership will be fitted with Trailer SumoSprings by SuperSprings International, provided the trailer is built on leaf spring suspension.
“No one has ever done this before, regarding trailer suspension. Typically, these kinds of modifications happen at the manufacturer level then they end up trickling down to the dealerships and then dealers sell them as extras. This is a really unique situation,” said Adam Weisner, chief commercial officer at SuperSprings International.
SuperSprings International described Trailer SumoSprings as “a true suspension enhancement for towables” – something it said that hasn’t appeared on the market before. Designed, built, and supported in the U.S.A., they are designed to remove sway, hop and vibration from a trailer. This year, aftermarket sales of Trailer SumoSprings are up more than 450 percent YTD, the company said.
“On every RV we sell we include high-quality components … we have a genuine interest in helping people enjoy their RV,” said Jim Vititow, United RV service director. “Adding Trailer SumoSprings to that mix is further enhancing this philosophy. This partnership with SuperSprings International is a ‘ginormous’ step; [it is] us staying out front.”
