SylvanSport, the Brevard, North Carolina-based manufacturer of adventure travel trailers, pop-up campers, rooftop tents and outdoor gear, released an update following Hurricane Helene.
All of SylvanSport’s personnel and their families are safe and accounted for. While many of its employees still lack water, power and internet, the brand said it has rallied its team and resources to support its community from Hurricane Helene devastation. Including the release and sales of its SylvanSport Strong shirt, where 100% of proceeds go to those impacted by Helene, it’s also donating a portion of proceeds from sales in October.
“It’s been just over a week since Hurricane Helene slammed our North Carolina Mountains,” SylvanSport said. “The devastation to lives, property and infrastructure is unreal. Even with many of our associates still dealing with no power, water and storm clean up, SylvanSport is here for our community and we’re OPEN for business.
“Many of you have asked how you can help. Supporting WNC businesses is a powerful way to help. With every SylvanSport purchase you make this month, we will donate a portion of sales to those directly impacted by this devastating storm.”
