Several RVs were stolen from Bill’s Service Center in Stratford, Wis., earlier this week, according to Stratford Police Chief Timothy Miller.
This story by John DesRivieres originally appeared in WSAW News 7.
The business was broken into and a pickup truck, two trailers, three ATV’s and two UTV’s were stolen sometime between Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.
The vehicles and the damage to the building total more than $100,000 in losses for the power equipment business located on N. Weber Ave. in Stratford.
Miller says the burglary fits the method of operation for a known group of thieves that target businesses across the Midwest and steal RVs.
While Miller says the investigation into the thefts continues, he says the operation seemed more sophisticated than a local group of thieves.
