Elkhart, Ind.-based Thor Motor Coach announces upgrades and new floorplans for its Challenger and Miramar Class A motorhomes.
Miramar welcomes the new 34.6 floorplan, which highlights family-friendly travel. Inside the 34.6 floorplan, a King-size Tilt-A-View bed with an inclining mechanism, bunk beds that convert into a closet, a sofa bed and a drop-down overhead bunk with Cotton Cloud mattress, all ensure large families have personal space. Exterior features include a 39-inch TV on a swivel bracket with Bluetooth connectivity and a kitchen with a refrigerator and sink to promote outdoor living.
Challenger is all about convenience for 2021, the company said. Drivers now have hands-free control of the 10-inch touchscreen dash radio with Axerra navigation, SiriusXM radio and Bluetooth connectivity at the tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Residential comforts include washer and dryer prep, tablet holders with USB chargers in the 37DS bunkhouse model, theater seating in the 35MQ floorplan and an electric fireplace in the 37FH layout.
Now part of Challenger and Miramar’s standard build is the 100-watt solar charging system with a power controller for consumers who want to get off the grid. All models feature the industry’s first steering wheel control integrated on the Ford F-53 steering wheel, to make control of the dash media center effortless, while helping the keep the driver focused on the road ahead.
Available with distinctive options, unique floor plans and decor packages, both products feel custom-made for families of various sizes, needs and lifestyles, TMC said.
