Torklift Launches Internal Frame-Mounted Payload Anchors

Torklift International announced the launch of its latest product — the ApexAnchors Internal Frame-Payload Anchor system, with new turnbuckle designs to enhance the adventure experience for truck camper owners and outdoor enthusiasts.

The new frame-mounted system is “a game changer for truck camper owners with truck camper anchor points that are mounted internally, such as truck camper brands like Scout, Cirrus, Four Wheel Campers, Travel Lite and more,” the company said.

The ApexAnchors Frame-Mounted Payload Anchor system is designed to mount directly to the frame to offer a strong connection between the camper and the truck frame without relying on the inadequate cargo anchor points that are installed onto the truck bed which is not designed for ongoing, heavy-duty use.

The standard cargo anchor points provided by truck manufacturers are intended for light, temporary use. These cargo anchor points are typically not assigned a weight rating and are installed directly onto the truck bed. The truck bed itself is not designed to bear significant loads, especially over prolonged periods.

In contrast, Torklift said it offers an essential upgrade with its maximum payload anchor point system. The heavy-duty anchor points are bolted directly to the truck’s frame, ensuring they can handle substantial loads with a high center of gravity like a truck camper. The payload anchor points provide a secure, reliable connection, designed to support heavy-duty applications and long-term use.

“It is crucial to the integrity of your truck camper and truck that you do not rely on your cargo anchor points to haul your payload,” the company said.
