Uni-Grip announced it has completed the acquisition of a TPE and PVC extrusion company that was located in Ontario, Canada. The company has operated under two names: Trim Gard and Trimco. Uni-Grip has moved all the assets and are running all production out of its plant in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Trim Gard has been in business for 55 years and has pioneered some innovative extrusion processes and knowledge, of which Uni-Grip said it was pleased to be the recipient. “Trim Gard has always regarded itself as the standard of excellence in all their products,” said Andrew Mathias, president of Uni-Grip, “and we are glad they chose Uni-Grip to carry on the legacy and brand.”
“This acquisition allows us to offer our customers an expanded line of TPE and PVC extruded products including multiple tape options, mylar, hot melt, butyl, protective topcoat, dual durometer and more,” Mathias added.
