United States Warranty Corporation (USWC) based in Cleveland, is excited to announce the addition of a Marine Division, rounding out the company’s diversified Service Contract portfolio. USWC is one of the oldest Service Contract providers in the United States.
“For 45 years we have been committed to serving RV customers throughout the country and do it by providing excellent service with integrity and trust…” says, Alexis Reed, USWC Chief Operating Officer.
“Many of our current dealers have been asking for this F & I product for a while now! We have done our research… listened to our customers and created a variety of comprehensive, customizable Service Contract plans suitable for any budget. We offer the only exclusionary coverage out there that I am aware of,” states Jay Demaske, Vice President, Business Development, tapped to head up the implementation and operations of the Marine Division. Jay started as a claims adjuster back in 2002 and rose through the ranks. “Creating trusting relationships and treating our customers like family is really what we are all about,” says Demaske.
Service Contracts, also referred to as Extended Warranties, provide coverage for mechanical, electrical or hydraulic components that are no longer covered by the manufacturer. Such coverage provides peace of mind protection while offering an efficient way for new and used boat owners to budget costly repairs. From a dealership or repair facility’s perspective, offering Service Contracts and ancillary products (GAP and Tire & Wheel) can add additional revenue streams for Sales/F & I.
One trend that is very prevalent across the different generations is the consumer education factor that drives customer satisfaction. This means repeat business. Adding Watercraft coverage allows USWC to leverage partnerships with mixed inventory. Dealerships that sell RVs, powersports and boats and lending companies are at the core of our business model. “I’ve been in the Service Contract Industry long enough to know that one stop shopping, consumer education and fair pricing is what our network wants. Now they have it. No sign-up fees. No quotas. No difficult paperwork…” states Demaske.
“We are unique in the Marine space. As the owner, creator and administrator of our Service Contract brand there are no silos, no long wait times for approvals and fast approvals mean fast payments for everyone. We have created a best in class, robust benefit package with higher coverage limits, and an exclusionary plan that is intended to Rock the Boat Industry”, says Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Patty Emser.
