In a prepared statement released Thursday, Valterra executives said they welcome the company’s acquisition by Dometic.
“We see many opportunities in our association with Dometic and look forward to sharing more information going forward,” said George Grengs, president of Valterra Products. “Valterra and Go Power! will continue to operate in the same manner as we have for the past several years but now under the umbrella of Dometic,” Valterra said in its press release. “Our commitments to quality and great service remain firm through this acquisition. There are no changes planned for any of the Valterra/ Go Power! team or how we do business.”
Sweden’s Dometic announced Thursday it was buying Valterra Products, a leading North American provider of service and aftermarket products primarily to the RV market. The company had sales of $94 million in 2020.
Dometic said it expects the acquisition will help it grow its position in the areas of service and aftermarket, as well increasing its presence in the fast-growing mobile solar power market through its Go Power! products.
