Vatrer Power has introduced the Vatrer 12V 600Ah Bluetooth Lithium Battery, a single-unit solution designed for RVs, vans, fifth wheels and off-grid systems.
The battery delivers 7,680Wh of stored energy — the same capacity as two 300Ah batteries wired in parallel — from one unit with a single BMS and one pair of terminals, Vatrer Power said in a recent release.
When RVers target roughly 7.7 kWh of capacity, they typically weigh one 600Ah unit against two 300Ah batteries in parallel. The single-unit approach eliminates the balancing cables, bus bars and extra connection points of a parallel bank, and its 25 by 9.6 by 8.7-inch footprint occupies roughly 7% less space than two 300Ah units combined. A dual 300Ah configuration, by contrast, offers redundancy and easier handling — two 55 LB batteries versus one 107.7 LB unit — and retains a 1,500 CCA engine-starting capability that deep-cycle 600Ah units do not target.
Built with automotive-grade LiFePO4 cells, the battery features a 300A BMS with 300A continuous discharge, supporting a properly matched 3,000-watt inverter for microwaves, coffee makers and other high-draw appliances. Bluetooth monitoring through the Vatrer app provides voltage, state of charge, cell status and real-time power draw without opening the battery compartment. The battery is rated for more than 5,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, includes low-temperature protection that halts charging below 32°F and discharging below -4°F, and can be expanded up to 4S4P for 51.2V 2400Ah systems — up to 122.88 kWh of total storage. The model is certified to CE, FCC, UN38.3 and RoHS standards and carries IP65 protection.
Fast replenishment is built in: a 1,920-watt solar array with an MPPT controller can recharge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in about five hours under strong sun, or about 8.6 hours with a 14.6V 70A LiFePO4 charger.
