The 2018 RV Dealers Convention Expo will feature a special “Super Lawyers Panel” with RV industry legal experts who can help dealerships avoid costly lawsuits. The panel, comprised of experienced attorneys who represent RV dealers and manufacturers, will provide attendees their best ideas for preventing and defending lawsuits against a dealership at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Topics to be covered by the “Super Lawyers Panel: How to Protect Your Dealership from Lawsuits” session include:
- Key laws impacting dealers
- Preventing problems before the sale
- Fix the problem, fix the customer
- How to effectively respond to claims
- Partnering with your manufacturer to resolve customer issues
The presenters are Harold D. Oehler, Lazydays; Kerry Griggs, the Cavanagh Law Firm; Brian Takahashi, Bowman and Brooke; and Chris Lowman, the Lowman Law Firm. The panel facilitator will be Brett Richardson, RVDA’s director of legal and regulatory affairs.
