The RV Industry Association recently released a video overview of 2017.
RVIA reports that members throughout the industry made a significant footprint in Washington, D.C., as they gathered to form the largest Advocacy Day to date. During this time, affiliates had the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with regulatory agencies to determine best practices to protect and grow the industry.
In 2017, RVIA took lead to form the largest coalition of outdoor recreation industry associations to create the Outdoor Recreation Industry Roundtable (ORIR).
The industry saw the value of investing in the education of RV technicians across the country. In 2017, there was an increase in newly trained and registered technicians who were ready to take on the ever-growing RV-owning population.
For the seventh year in a row, RVIA had a surge in attendance at the California RV Show and a 2 percent increase at the National RV Trade Show. It also incorporated new events and seminars for attendees to participate in and enjoy.
