Way Interglobal, an industry leader in RV appliances, power solutions, electronics and furnishings, cut the ribbon on its new global headquarters in “The RV Capital of the World,” Elkhart, Indiana, Wednesday, Oct. 5.
The 800,000-square-foot warehousing, showroom, and office space will consolidate and expand Way’s 360,000 square feet of warehousing across five locations. Way plans to grow its workforce by 30% to manage the larger facility and better service its customers.
“We have been building toward this moment for years and are eager to get comfortable and make ourselves home in this beautiful new space,” said Wayne Kaylor, CEO, and founder of Way. “We are happy to introduce our new facility to the public eye and proud to be a focal point in Elkhart Country. This marks a new milestone for Way as we continue our tremendous growth.”
The new headquarters is one of the largest buildings in Elkhart County and makes Way Interglobal a prominent fixture in the continually expanding RV industry.
“The time and effort put in during the early days of Way to get us to this point have proven to me that a remarkable team and concept, along with customer acceptance, support and execution, can allow for great things to happen,” said Kaylor. “It is a testament to why we are here today for this ribbon-cutting ceremony.”
Way was founded in 2010 and now has product category brands including Everchill, Greystone, Elite and Drive that provide RV components including fridges, coolers, cooking ranges, portable griddles, fireplaces, water heaters, electronics and power solutions including solar panels, lithium batteries and generators.
Way’s upward trajectory and growth were driven by its flagship product, the industry’s first 12-volt RV fridge under the Everchill brand, in 2017. Over the five years, 12-volt refrigerator models have become a mainstay in most RVs after being brought to market by Way.
