Cell signal reliability company weBoost recently released the Drive X RV, a multi-user, in-vehicle cell phone signal booster designed for use in RVs.
The Drive X RV includes a mast extension that allows the antenna to rise above the RV cab and any surrounding obstructions to optimize cell signal reception.
With the included mounting hardware and side-exit adapter, the outside antenna fits universal CB-antenna mounts, as well as 1- to 2-inch RV ladders and poles in either a vertical or horizontal configuration. The spring base adds to the antenna’s durability by guarding against high-wind conditions and low hanging tree branches.
The Drive X RV kit includes 25 feet of RG-6 cable to accommodate an ideal mounting configuration of the booster and its inside antenna.
How it works:
- The outside antenna reaches out to the cell tower to access cell signal.
- Once the cell signal is received, it’s delivered inside to the RV booster.
- The booster boosts the outside signal and sends it to the inside antenna.
- The inside antenna broadcasts the boosted cell signal throughout the RV.
The Drive X RV is compatible with all cell phones, hotspots, cellular-connected tablets, and other cellular devices on all U.S. mobile carriers. It is FCC-approved and includes a two-year manufacturer’s warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
