Joe Zueger, president of Workplace IT Management and a 30-year IT services veteran, will present an hour-long workshop in the dealer education track at the 2019 RV Dealers Convention/Expo.
Zueger, one of 18 new convention speakers, will lead this session and provide dealers with a framework that will help make sense of managing IT risk in their organization.
“Stop That Screeching! Gaining and Greasing Your IT Security Bearings,” begins at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Zueger will cut through the “alphabet soup” of IT security standards by providing attendees with an understanding of the underlying objectives associated with a comprehensive IT security approach. Next, Zueger will present examples of risk reduction solutions dealerships can deploy that will address current threats like ransomware, C-level executive fraud, and other prevailing cyber security issues.
Attendees of this educational workshop will learn:
- The universal objectives of a strong IT risk management approach
- Dealership-friendly security solutions and how they reduce risk
- How IT security is changing the nature of small business IT support solutions
