Becky has also helped position Blacksford as one of the go-to companies for customers seeking an upscale experience for their iconic national park and vacation trips in the American West.
Revenues have nearly tripled since Becky become CEO, her nominator says, and reviews have been extremely positive. Repeat customers constitute over 10% of Blacksford revenue, and customers frequently ask where the company will open its next location. All of the high potential team members of Blacksford are women, and they all look to Becky as a mentor and model for career and personal growth.
Becky’s background is as a lawyer and consultant to major corporations on ethics and preventing scandals borne of executive misconduct, her nominator says. She has advised CEOs and senior executive teams all over the world in tense circumstances and won their confidence in charting a framework and action plan to turn things around. At Blacksford, Becky has spearheaded a strong marketing and branding effort without a background in those fields.
Her nominator describes her as having strong convictions and being unflappable and says that she is extremely thoughtful and compassionate as well. Becky does not shy away from bad news but addresses it head-on.
