2026 Women in Business: Jennifer Schillaci

Owner | RV Roofing Solutions & Learn to RV

As the co-owner of RV Roofing Solutions and owner and podcast host of Learn to RV, Jennifer has cultivated a connected, informed and empowered RV community rooted in service and shared experience.

Jennifer is the driving force behind marketing, sales, brand development and community engagement, but her influence is best understood in how she shows up: as a connector, storyteller, educator and advocate. With a deeply personal approach, Jennifer engages RVers in a way that feels less like a transaction and more like a conversation around a campfire.

Her background — a homeschooling mother of seven and the wife of a retired United States Marine — shapes her ability to manage complexity, communicate clearly and lead with structure and empathy. Those qualities are woven into every interaction she has with customers, partners and the broader RV community.

In 2025, Jennifer expanded her impact by acquiring Learn to RV, a struggling educational platform. She transformed the blogging platform into a dynamic, accessible resource hub designed to educate and support RV owners at every stage of their journey. The platform is now a place where people can learn confidently and connect meaningfully.

Jennifer has also worked to elevate RV Roofing Solutions into a recognized name within the industry. Despite its 20-plus year history, the business had limited visibility until Jennifer strategically repositioned it for growth.

Her determination opened doors that had long remained closed, including securing the company’s debut at the Hershey RV Show in 2025 after a three-year waitlist, complementing a 16-year presence at the Tampa SuperShow. These milestones reflect her deliberate and patient approach to building credibility and relationships over time.

Jennifer’s influence is also evident in the partnerships and recognition the company has earned. In 2025, RV Roofing Solutions was invited as a Tiffin Allegro Club benefit partner and selected as a Family RV Association member benefit partner. In 2026, following the Tampa SuperShow, the company was invited to take part in the exclusive Open Roads VIP Program. And in 2026, the company will launch a dedicated family chapter for the Family Motor Coach Association.

She uses her vendor and influencer roles to create opportunities for customers, partners and peers to share and gain recognition. Through initiatives like the Learn to RV podcast and her presence at rallies, she creates environments where people feel supported and empowered.

Her commitment to supporting women in the RV industry shines through her sponsorship and participation in events such as the FMCA Western Area Ladies Luncheon, where she has also served as a speaker. Through Learn to RV Chick Chats and other community gatherings, she fosters spaces where women can ask questions and learn.

Jennifer’s resilience was tested in July 2024 with the unexpected loss of Scott, her mentor and the original owner of RV Roofing Solutions. She restructured the business within a single day to ensure continuity for employees, customers and partners, even with legal, operational and emotional difficulties before her. Under her leadership, the company continued to grow while staying true to its founding values.

Jennifer’s advice for up-and-coming women in the RV industry:

I won’t sugarcoat it — as a woman who often gets overlooked because I’m in the RV roofing industry, there will be rooms where you feel like the odd one out. Go in anyway. Sit at the table anyway. Build the business anyway. The space was always yours; sometimes you just have to claim it.

Learn to RV is my heart project. It’s proof that when you believe in something fully, it carries others with you. You should always have something like that — something that lights you up so much that it pulls other people forward just by existing.

The RV industry needs women in it. Not just as passengers, but as owners, creators, builders and leaders. Keep chasing. There is absolutely a space for you here.

What it means to Jennifer to be a Women in Business honoree:

Being named an RV PRO Women in Business honoree is a huge deal for me, and I don’t say that lightly. This space has historically been dominated by OEM companies, so as an aftermarket company co-owner, being selected feels like a door opening that I wasn’t sure would ever open for me. It is an absolute honor.

Learn to RV is a webpage, not a brick-and-mortar, not a manufacturer, not a dealership, and the fact that this recognition sees the work I have poured into it and the team I am building there since acquiring it in 2025 means everything. Add Learn to RV The Podcast host to that, and I’m told it makes this nomination even more unusual. I’ll take unusual. Unusual means we’re doing something right.

But honestly? The part that hits deepest is personal. My husband, Frank, is a United States Marine Corps veteran, and for so long, my identity was wrapped up in being a military wife and mom — proudly, but usually elevating my husband’s achievements over my own. To now be recognized as someone to watch in this industry, in my own right, is something I genuinely did not see coming.

This isn’t just an honor. It’s a reminder that showing up, doing the work and refusing to shrink, even when the room wasn’t built for you, eventually gets noticed. To every woman watching from the sidelines: keep going. Your moment is coming.
