40 Under 40: Brittany Niezgodski
Social Media & Communications Manager; Jayco; With company: 4.5 years | Industry experience: 7.5 years

For Brittany, social media is about more than promoting RVs — It is a way to connect people with the RV lifestyle while creating opportunities for her team to be creative, learn and grow. As social media and communications manager at Jayco, Brittany has quickly advanced her career while helping strengthen the company’s relationships with RV owners and enthusiasts.
Brittany believes “being a good leader on a social team starts with being personal and leading by example,” a nominator says. She wants her team to see her passion, commitment and work ethic, not just hear her talk about them.
That philosophy shapes how she leads her team. Brittany emphasizes clear communication while giving team members the freedom to contribute their own ideas. She also prioritizes accountability, taking ownership of both successes and setbacks and encouraging her team to learn from challenges.
Her nominator says Brittany creates an environment where team members feel heard and valued while bringing out the best in those around her. Her influence extends beyond Jayco, as she continues to find new ways to connect the brand with the diverse audiences that make up the RV community.
One of Brittany’s most significant leadership moments came during a major public relations crisis. For several weeks, she took ownership of Jayco’s social media and community communications, working with her team to develop timely and thoughtful responses to concerns from the community.
She took on the pressure herself rather than putting it on the rest of her team, another nominator says.
Her work has also helped grow Jayco’s social presence through increased organic engagement, impressions and follower growth. She has strengthened relationships with RV owners through community groups and the company’s ambassador program, Pathfinders, which she recently began managing and has expanded with additional ambassadors.
“Building relationships with RV owners and ambassadors is one of her favorite parts of her job as she thrives on human connection,” one of Brittany’s nominators says.
Her rapid career progression reflects that impact. She joined Jayco as a social media specialist, advanced to social media and engagement lead and, after just six months in that role, became social media and communications manager.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys DIY projects, reading, gardening, traveling, live music and spending time on the water. She is also passionate about animal rescue and has adopted cats through Catsnip’s TNR program. Within the RV industry, she is a member of the RV Women’s Alliance and has participated in its Educational Symposium.
For Brittany, leadership ultimately comes down to helping others discover their potential. She doesn’t just want to lead a social team — she wants to build a team that feels inspired, confident, creative and proud of what they are creating together, a nominator says.
Brittany’s advice for up-and-coming leaders in the RV industry:
Keep investing in yourself. Learning never stops, and continuing to grow your knowledge is important at every stage of your career. Whether you’re currently leading a team or working toward a leadership role, remember that leadership isn’t a title. Great leaders guide, inspire, mentor and empower others. Remember to celebrate the wins, both your own and those of the people around you.
What it means to Brittany to be a 40 Under 40 honoree:
Being recognized as a 40 Under 40 honoree is an incredible honor. You never really realize who’s watching or how your hard work and determination are being perceived. Learning that others view me as a mentor has been especially meaningful. This nomination is a reminder that the effort you put in every day is recognized, and I’m grateful to know I’ve made a positive impact on those around me. I genuinely love what I do, which makes this recognition especially meaningful. I am grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged and trusted me with opportunities — Your confidence has shaped my career, and I wouldn’t be here without you.
