Leigh Tiffin starts his day around 4 a.m. and diligently works — often until 8:30 p.m. — on making Tiffin Motorhomes a stronger company. His wife, Baylee, gets to see his hard work firsthand.
“I’m not sure there is anyone who’s as ambitious as Leigh Tiffin,” Baylee says of her husband, who’s been in the RV industry for 10 years. “His desire for excellence is unmatched. His passion for customer service is top tier. He truly cares deeply about both his employees and customers.”
One of Leigh’s objectives is to make the workflow at his company as efficient as possible to help both Tiffin Motorhomes and THOR Industries (which acquired Tiffin Motorhomes in 2020) continue to thrive. He has led Tiffin through significant enhancements in quality and design while maintaining strong customer loyalty; successfully navigated the company through its acquisition by THOR Industries, ensuring its core values of quality and service remain intact; and spearheaded initiatives that increased Tiffin’s market presence in the Class A, S2RV, Class C and van segments, positioning the company for future growth.
“He carries a heavy load of trying to keep so many people happy and content and does it so very well,” Baylee adds.
“As president of Tiffin Motorhomes, I’m committed to building on our legacy of quality, value and exceptional customer service. With over a decade of leadership in the RV industry, I’ve had the privilege of guiding Tiffin through key growth phases while maintaining our deep connection to the customers we serve,”
Leigh says.
Being named to 40 Under 40 is a huge honor and a testament to the team he’s had the privilege to lead, he adds.
“It represents the hard work of everyone at Tiffin, and I’m excited to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the RV industry. This recognition motivates me to continue building on the legacy of excellence that Tiffin Motorhomes is known for.”
Outside of the office, Leigh loves spending time with his family. He also recently became a pilot and always enjoys working out before heading to work.
Leigh’s advice for upcoming leaders in the RV space:
“The best advice I can offer is to stay grounded in the values that matter most — integrity, passion and a relentless focus on quality. Always be willing to listen, adapt and evolve. The RV industry is fast-moving, and the leaders who will thrive are those who embrace change while staying rooted in their core principles.”
