40 Under 40: Trevor Marsha
Finance Director; Grand Design RV; With company: 4 years | Industry experience: 7 years

Trevor Marsha wears several hats at Grand Design RV. He leads the financial planning and analysis and payroll teams, while also playing a key role in the accounting team. Most recently, he is the CFO for the newly launched motorized division, which in its full first year ended August 2025 delivered more than $100 million in revenue.
“As a finance professional and trusted business partner, Trevor is looked to by his cross-functional business partners to provide analyses on decision to be made, solutions to business challenges and is a trusted member of the Grand Design Leadership Team,” says nominator Steve Stuber.
Trevor was a key member of getting the newly formed motorized division up and running, with results to date being on or ahead of budget and timeline.
“Trevor has been critical in leading efforts to manage production levels to end consumer demand over the past 2-3 years as the industry comes off of record high levels. He tirelessly analyzes external data to help optimize internal operational decisions. From the CEO and CFO on down, Trevor is relied upon to provide a well thought out perspective and input to all critical decisions that are made at Grand Design RV.”
Some of Trevor’s achievements include creating a plan to reduce general and administrative spending by $9.5 million year over year and working with the general manager of the newly formed motorized division to deliver more than $100 million in sales in the first year. Trevor established the company’s Free Trade Zone, which Steve says saves tens of millions of dollars when importing foreign motorized chassis.
“He is relied upon by other business colleagues in our sister companies (Winnebago, Newmar, Barletta and Chris-Craft) for best practice sharing and business insights,” says Steve.
Trevor notes his wife’s support of his career, saying, “She has fully embraced our moves from our home state of Vermont to Minnesota and now Indiana, all while managing a growing career of her own.” He adds, “I’m extremely grateful to have such an amazing partner in this crazy journey of life.”
Outside of work, Trevor enjoys golfing and helping his three kids play hockey. He also spends time helping his oldest son race carts and cars competitively throughout the country.
Trevor’s advice for up-and-coming leaders in the RV industry:
The best advice I can give up-and-coming leaders in the RV industry is to focus on what it means to be a great partner in every situation, whether that is with your team internally or to those outside of your organization. More than any other industry I’ve been in, the RV industry is about relationships; connecting with people is integral in everything we do. More broadly, recognize that it is not a race to the top and a strong foundation of skills and connections will pay significant dividends throughout your career. I encourage all young professionals to read the short article “Stop Fast-Tracking Your Career” by Harvard Business Review. Lastly, something I live by in my professional and personal life is “if you’re comfortable, you’re not growing.”
What it means to Trevor to be a 40 Under 40 honoree:
For me, being a 40 Under 40 honoree as part of the RV industry means that the people I surround myself with every day feel like I’m doing great things. I’m extremely fortunate to get to work with this high performing team at Grand Design, and Winnebago Industries at large.
