Model Year 2026 Preview: Cortes Campers, AEONrv & Rossmönster

Cortes Campers

For model year 2026, Cortes Campers will introduce the new molded-in composite frame featuring a monocoque design for its Cortes 18 Superlight RV travel trailer. Having the body and frame molded as a single integrated unit provides structural integrity while eliminating the traditional separate metal chassis, reducing the weight of this travel trailer by 600 to 800 pounds.

“The Cortes 18’s new monocoque design represents a major leap in RV construction — think boat or aerospace-grade engineering applied to travel trailers,” says Patricia Salaciak, director of marketing at Cortes Campers. “Using biaxial fiberglass (or optional carbon fiber) dramatically cuts the weight — up to 68%-80% lighter than traditional steel chassis in a single-shell composite structure that delivers lighter weight, better durability, integrated systems, and streamlined performance echoing the specialized builds found in boats and aircraft. Its featherlight build makes it towable with many midsize SUVs, opening the market to buyers intimidated by heavier trailers.”

The lightweight design also saves gas and reduces wear on tow vehicles, resulting in lower long-term costs.

Cortes Campers will also introduce the new Cortes 22 — the largest Cortes fiberglass model to date, specifically 5 feet longer and 1 foot wider than the Cortes 18.

The Cortes 22 features expanded sleeping capacity, a horseshoe dinette, full-size kitchen and larger bath. This larger model also includes holding tanks for fresh and gray water molded into the body as structural elements, reducing weight and increasing durability.

For its 2026 models, Cortes Campers has introduced several new standard features, including the Timbren Axle-less Suspension plus an additional 4-inch ground clearance, new fabric choices for the dinette cushions and a solar-ready SAE DC Solar Port.

“For 2026, traditional RV manufacturers are embracing electric vehicle compatibility by incorporating EV-friendly chassis, regenerative braking systems and lightweight solar components,” Salaciak says. “Cortes Campers is preparing its travel trailers for solar integration with SAE DC solar ports and is actively exploring solar panel package options. The company is also supporting customers who wish to install lithium battery systems.”

AEONrv

AEONrv has a lot to look forward to in 2026 as the company will launch its new North-South twin-style bed layout, offering an alternative to the company’s standard queen-size bed. This new bed layout offers greater flexibility in sleeping arrangements and is an ideal option for solo travelers, as well as those seeking separate beds.

As a new high-tech, all-season brand, AEONrv is designed on a Ford Transit AWD chassis with a rugged 2-inch lift, Falcon tuned shocks, BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires and marine-grade materials.

“The market is shifting toward smaller batch, high-quality RVs that can go off-grid, off-road and off-script,” says Jim Ritchie, CEO at AEONrv. “Buyers are asking smarter questions and expecting more from their rigs. We’re leaning into that with rugged, customizable builds that are engineered — not retrofitted — for real adventure. Demand is strong, and AEONrv is perfectly positioned to lead.”

In addition to offering serious off-road capability and on-the-go engineering with modern comfort, AEONrv’s 2025 model will have over 20 new upgrades, including enhanced lithium battery capacity, expanded solar, smarter Victron power monitoring, a reimagined garage for bike and gear storage, and upgraded heating and cooling systems for extreme climates.

For 2026, AEONrv will offer new features including a 10.9kWh Battle Born LiFePO4 battery system, rear L-Track gear mounting system, roof access wire port for Starlink or booster antenna installations, 800-watt rigid rooftop solar with Victron MPPT controller, 32-inch rear-facing 30K lumen LED light bar, upgraded KO3 all-terrain tires, and expanded heated garage (65-plus cubic feet) with 40-inch clearance.

For RV enthusiasts who want to make their vehicle their own, some of the optional features available in 2026 will include a Ford Raptor-style grille, separate tiny compostable toilet, full vehicle body vinyl wrap color options and lockable underbody aluminum storage box, to name a few.

What makes 2026 truly shine for AEONrv is consumers’ ability to stay comfortable anywhere with no hookups or propane required, thanks to its 800 watts of roof-mounted solar, a high-capacity lithium battery system and inverting alternator charging system, resulting in efficient and reliable air conditioning even in remote locations, the company says.

“Shaping the future of adventure vehicles for those who dare to roam further and live boldly,” Rossmönster recently introduced its Skye unit, a 170-inch Sprinter van that is designed to handle off-grid living while offering unmatched luxury and performance.

The van offers a queen-size Murphy bed, with the option for a pop-top tent to sleep up to four, as well as a 12-foot Corian countertop — an ideal multifunctional kitchen/office/prep space for those who love to cook or work from the road.

Built on the Mercedes 3500 chassis with a diesel powertrain, Skye offers exceptional durability and performance, and for those consumers who seek true off-grid capability, a 400-watt solar array, a 1000Ah lithium battery and a 3,000-watt inverter provide long-lasting power, while a 35-gallon fresh water tank and a 23-gallon gray water system allow for extended stays in remote locations.

New in 2026, Rossmönster is introducing its Class B+ Havn, a new cab chassis product. According to Thor Audiss, chief marketing officer at Rossmönster, the Havn was created to solve a common challenge: more interior space without the extreme off-road build of the company’s Baja series, which boasts a pop-top camper for a low center of gravity and agile handling. This makes the unit ideal for navigating rugged terrain and reaching remote destinations.

“Havn is designed for those chasing adventure on dirt roads and trailheads in spacious luxury,” Audiss says. The Havn series boasts premium Corian countertops, four-season insulation, hydronic in-floor heat, white oak cabinets and heavy-duty shore power inlet.

In addition to the new Havn series, Rossmönster is also standardizing electric awning Garmin control modules for all of the company’s build repeat products.

“In 2025, the Skye 170 was the most successful vehicle in our lineup and has been our bestselling vehicle this year,” Audiss says.

The Skye 170 is built on the 170-inch Mercedes Sprinter chassis and is engineered for off-grid, four-season adventure. It features a full kitchen with 11-foot countertop, side-sleeping 5-inch thick mattress, vented and heated shower with cassette toilet, and reinforced suspension — a powerful energy system and rugged wheels for off-roading adventures.
