Model Year 2026 Preview: Leisure Travel Vans & MDC USA
Leisure Travel Vans
Leisure Travel Vans will usher in 2026 with a wealth of new standard features, beginning with the interior. The captain’s chairs in each Leisure Travel Van will boast a fresh look thanks to new premium covers.
And because the “heart of the home” — including an RV home — is in the kitchen, Leisure Travel Vans will introduce a thoughtful new galley countertop extension in both the Unity Corner Bed and Unity FX models. In addition to acting as a drawer, the countertop extension also provides an additional prep and cooking area.
A two-burner induction cooktop will be standard for the company’s 2026 model. The smooth glass surface is easy to clean and includes built-in safety functions, quick touch level selection, exact temperature settings up to 450 F and a timer setting.
“Many customers, both prospecting and current, have been asking, and we finally felt it was time to introduce this great update,” says Shania Ginter, content marketing specialist at Leisure Travel Vans. “It looks modern and adds a fresh look to the galley area in each coach.”

New standard exterior features of Leisure Travel Vans will also be introduced in 2026. An all-new European retractable entry door found on 2026 Unity models features a dual latch and hinge system, providing a tighter and more secure seal. With storage being highly sought after by today’s RV owners, the entry door will also feature integrated pockets for additional storage.
“The new entry door looks visually quite different, and it’s more integrated into the paint scheme of the coach, again, adding to the modern look,” Ginter says.

2026 Leisure Travel Vans will also boast an all-new taillight design, featuring an updated, European automotive appearance and brighter, multifunctional LED lights, enhancing safety during low-light driving conditions. Along with refreshed bezels, the clearance lights on both front and rear masks have been updated from colored to clear lenses for a more streamlined appearance.
Perhaps most notably, 2026 will be a big year for the exterior color schemes of Leisure Travel Vans. New paint lines, inspired by the 60th Anniversary Edition, along with six new paint colors, will result in a total of nine exterior paint options.
“It’s all about providing more ways to make Leisure Travel Vans feel unique to each owner’s style,” Ginter says.

Of course, comfort is key when it comes to the ultimate RV experience. That’s why the company will introduce the new Truma Aventa Eco Air Conditioner with Heat Pump in 2026. The ultraquiet Truma Aventa air conditioner balances cooling and humidity while minimizing noise, in a contemporary, energy-efficient, low-profile design, the company says. The new heat pump allows consumers to use shore power to quietly and efficiently heat the coach in cooler temperatures.
Leisure Travel Vans will also offer new optional features, specifically the new RV Mobile Power Flex Power 4.0 KW LP Generator, which is optional on Unity models and standard on Wonder. This generator is known to be compact, quiet, powerful and efficient with a single-cylinder 224cc OHV air-cooled engine and digital governor, the company says. RV owners can power an RV’s appliances directly or recharge the battery bank during extended off-grid adventures.
MDC USA
For model year 2026, MDC USA will make a bold statement with a powerful lineup of rugged, off-road-capable campers and travel trailers.
Leading the charge is the ROBSON XTT MKII, a reimagined dual-fold pop-up camper designed for families and adventurers seeking robust performance without compromising comfort. Joining it will be MDC’s complete OFF-GRID EXTREME range, six trail-ready models engineered for extended off-grid capability.
The ROBSON XTT MKII blends premium comfort with impressive self-sufficiency, thanks to a 300Ah lithium battery bank, 200-watt solar capacity and a 3,000-watt Renogy pure sine-wave inverter with an automatic transfer switch to switch between battery power and AC shore power. A sophisticated power management system, complete with Bluetooth connectivity, provides real-time monitoring and control.

The MKII also debuts the Truma Combi air and water heating system with insulated lines and heated water tanks. Whether winter camping in the mountains or chasing fall colors across the country, the ROBSON XTT MKII promises warmth and cooling in every season.
Inside, the dual-fold layout offers expansive sleeping space and a club lounge that converts to an additional bed. Outside is MDC’s signature stainless-steel kitchen with Thetford cooktop and sink with hot and cold water supply.

Built atop the X-TRACK independent trailing arm suspension system and a hot-dipped galvanized chassis, this camper is ready to tackle rugged terrain. The included annex and external shower tent add outdoor
living space, while MDC’s lifetime A-frame and chassis warranty rounds out the package.
“MDC remains dedicated to delivering top-tier innovation and quality in the off-road camper market,” says Vaughan Hindley, founder and president of MDC. “The ROBSON XTT MKII embodies this commitment, providing families with a robust and adventure-ready camper that ensures comfort and confidence on any journey.”
Also taking center stage in MDC’s offerings is the OFF-GRID EXTREME lineup. With six models ranging from 12 to 19 feet, these travel trailers offer adventurers a new benchmark in rugged independence and comfort. Each model is equipped with a high-capacity Renogy power ecosystem with lithium battery capacities from 400Ah to 800Ah, and a Renogy pure sine wave inverter. Paired with Truma and Thetford appliances and a full cold-weather package, these units are built for all-season performance and long-haul off-grid living.

The XT15-4E is a family-ready hybrid model with a wet bath, electric pop-top roof, 745 watts of rooftop solar and 400Ah lithium power. It sleeps four and blends compact mobility with sizeable interior space.
The XT16HR EAST WEST and XT16HR ISLAND are 16-foot couples’ trailers offering a choice between space-saving bed orientations and center-position bed layouts for easy access from either side. Each unit features internal bathrooms, kitchens, 800Ah lithium capacity, 700 watts of rooftop solar capacity and Truma heating and cooling systems.

The XT17HRT FAMILY is tailored for families and sleeps five with a bunk bed layout, 875 watts rooftop solar capacity, 800Ah lithium battery and a full suite of amenities for off-grid exploration.
These models join the XT12HR and XT19HRT, completing the OFF-GRID EXTREME collection.
“With a diverse lineup ranging from compact trailers for two to spacious family-friendly models, the OFF-GRID EXTREME range ensures there’s a travel trailer to match every adventurer’s needs,” Hindley says. “We’ve designed these trailers to empower people to explore further and stay off-grid for extended periods — so they not only can escape with confidence, but escape for longer.”
