2026 RV PRO RVeterans Honoree Ted Cook
Director of Training, National Indoor RV Centers, 35+ years in the industry
Ted Cook may be director of training for National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC), but he works with all levels of service at every location nationwide and is known for finding areas of growth to improve the customer experience as much as possible.
Known for driving hundreds of miles to help a customer, Ted’s name is synonymous with “going above and beyond.” Whether he’s overnighting parts to campgrounds in order to get customers back on the road or helping to diagnose and fix issues that even the manufacturer can’t seem to fix, the list of what Ted has done to help customers is longer than the Nile River, his nominator says.
Ted began his career in the RV industry in 1990 on the manufacturing side, where he developed a deep understanding of motorhome construction and customer expectations. His early experience with Travel Supreme laid the foundation for a distinguished career in the luxury motorhome segment, ultimately helping shape brands like Entegra Coach and continuing today with National Indoor RV Centers.
Ted is a gifted teacher and limitlessly willing mentor, his nominator says. If he can help educate in any way, he will. He is said to have the best attitude about answering questions, teaching and helping to streamline problems. He is also known to have an incredible knack for problem-solving that extends beyond the technical side of RVing.
Most recently, Ted figured out how to re-engineer the dash air conditioning system in coaches to improve the quality and longevity of the existing units. His engineering has solved a long, ongoing issue with the manufacturing of dash ACs, and he’s made the fix economical enough to be widely effective among the industry, his nominator says.
What it means to Ted to work in the RV industry this long:

You need to have a desire to be a servant in order to help and please others.
