RVIA Touts Committee Leadership Changes

The following was including in RVIA’s News & Insights report.

An active and engaged membership helps the RV Industry Association (RVIA) achieve its goal of promoting and protecting the RV sector. One way members can become engaged is by joining association committees.

With that in mind, below are the latest updates on committee leadership changes:

Chad Reece, vice president of government and industry relations at Winnebago Industries, has recently become chair of the Government Affairs Committee.

The Government Affairs Committee makes recommendations to the board and provides critical guidance to staff on where to focus the RV Industry Association’s government affairs resources by prioritizing the importance of various state and federal regulatory and legislative issues confronting the industry.

Reece previously served as chair of the Public Relations Committee.

Trey Miller, vice president of marketing at Jayco, has become the new chair of the Public Relations Committee.

The Public Relations Committee, consisting of experienced representatives from member companies, helps to manage industry public relations challenges while directing proactive engagement with industry and national media, including campaigns to promote key association programs and strategic initiatives.

Interested in becoming more involved in the RV Industry Association? Join a committee! There are nearly 30 committees that range in topics from marketing, membership, and advocacy to foreign affairs and standards issues. These committees are responsible for setting the strategic direction for many of the association’s programs.
