Tennessee’s Henry County To Feature on ‘RV There Yet?’
The following is a report from Radio NWTN.
Paris, Tennessee-based Henry County is once again putting itself on the map — literally. Thanks to an annual tourism and marketing grant managed by the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce, the county is partnering with the popular television series RV There Yet?, which airs on the Discovery Channel, to showcase all the charm and adventure our community has to offer.
As part of this project, the RV There Yet? crew will visit Henry County during the 2025 World’s Biggest Fish Fry — the perfect time to experience the county at its liveliest. Known for their cross-country RV travels, the show’s husband-and-wife producers highlight towns across America by diving into local culture, exploring hidden gems, and connecting with the people who make each community special.
“We are so excited to welcome RV There Yet? to Henry County,” said Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Leslie Henegar. “During their week-long stay, the crew will enjoy a full itinerary, including exploring our historic downtown and local businesses, dining in locally-owned restaurants, experiencing the beauty of Kentucky Lake, and of course, participating in the World’s Biggest Fish Fry festivities—including a spot in the parade! This is a unique opportunity to share our story on a national platform and invite others to experience what makes our community one-of-a-kind.”
This special episode is made possible through generous support from the City of Paris, the Downtown Paris Association, and the Henry County Tourism Authority. “We’re thrilled to welcome RV There Yet? to Paris and Henry County!” said Tara Wilson, DPA Executive Director and Coordinator for the Henry County Tourism Authority. “We’re proud to show off our small-town charm, big-hearted community, and all the fun that makes this place special!”
While the RV There Yet? crew is in town, Garland’s RV will host a special Meet-and-Greet event on Saturday, April 26, from 3 to 5 p.m. — free and open to the public! Don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet television hosts Kevin and Patrice McCabe, snap a photo, get an autograph, and hear firsthand stories of life on the road in an RV as they explore the heart of America.
Show host Kevin McCabe said, “I’m looking forward to attending the World’s Biggest Fish Fry for the first time in Paris, TN! I’ve been excited about this ever since we started talking about visiting and filming an episode in Henry County.”
Co-host Patrice McCabe said, “I can’t wait to participate in the festivities and meet everyone we’ve been working with to prep for our filming. Oh, and don’t think I’m not looking forward to eating the catfish and hushpuppies, too! One of the many reasons we love RVing is exploring and experiencing local cultures—the traditions and people that make this country so special and beautiful.”
More details will be released soon about the Henry County episode air date. In the meantime, locals can get a taste of what to expect by watching episodes of RV There Yet? on YouTube or the Discovery Channel, airing Saturdays at 8:30 a.m.
