StorageCafe Lists 2025’s Top RV Destinations

RV vacations are shifting into high gear — and demand for life on wheels shows no signs of pumping the brakes. In 2025, RV ownership in the U.S. has reached 8.1 million households, and the momentum is only picking up speed: 16.9 million more households say they plan to hit the road in an RV within the next five years.

So with more RVs on the road than ever before, there’s just one question: Where are all these new adventurers going?

In collaboration with Find RV Parks, an online RV park finder website, StorageCafe, a nationwide self-storage search website and a part of Yardi, mapped out the data. Analyzing over 70 RV-friendly destinations across the U.S., the study looked at everything from air quality and campsite availability to campground amenities, grocery affordability and digital connectivity.

Where are best places in America to park an RV?

  • Branson, Missouri, topped StorageCafe’s list of RV destinations for 2025. Tucked into the Ozark Mountains, Branson strikes a balance between rustic charm and road-ready convenience. With 25 RV campsites, it’s one of the few places where finding a spot to park is almost as easy as finding a good view. Add reliable Wi-Fi and pet-welcoming policies, and you’ve got a destination that mirrors the evolving priorities of RVers.
  • Naples, Florida, ranks a close second with an elevated, resort-style approach to RV living that appeals especially to those seeking a mixture of luxury and outdoor fun. The city is the highest-ranked Florida destination.

Key findings from the study include:

  • With 15 cities in the top 70, Texas dominates the map for RVers, thanks to its mix of natural beauty, strong infrastructure and balanced cost of living, StorageCafe said, followed closely by Arizona, which claims 11 top destinations, led by favorites like Bullhead City and Yuma.
  • In today’s RV lifestyle, Wi-Fi and internet access are nearly as important as full hookups. The best destinations didn’t just offer space — they offered signal.
  • Top-ranking locations combined livability perks like air quality, grocery access, retail density and pet-friendliness, showing that RVers aren’t just looking to escape, but to settle in comfortably.
  • With RV ownership among the highest, many travelers need a secure place to park their rigs between adventures, especially in neighborhoods where driveway space is tight or HOAs say no. In response to growing demand, RV-focused self storage has become a booming industry. According to recent StorageCafe data, the number of facilities offering dedicated RV storage has increased by 20% over the past decade.
