Big Beard Battery announced that its Big Beard Battery Solar Clinics have been such a success that new dates have been added and plans are underway to expand the program.
The weeklong Big Beard Battery clinic has quickly become a go-to experience for RV owners who want to install their own lithium battery and solar power systems with confidence, the company said in a release. Clinic attendees work directly on their own RVs, using Big Beard Battery’s tools, products and expertise.
“The solar clinic has been a huge success,” said Stephanie Henson, co-founder of Big Beard Battery. “We knew people would be excited to work with Todd, but we didn’t realize how many would want to travel here and be part of this unique DIY experience. It’s been an incredible journey to meet new friends every week — it’s just sad to see them leave!”
Learn by Doing, Not Just Watching
The clinics follow a step-by-step process that transforms beginners into confident owners. Many attendees arrive feeling overwhelmed by wiring, inverters and charge controllers, Big Beard Battery said, but by the end of the week, they know exactly how their RV power system works and where every component is located.
Participants also gain peace of mind knowing they have a direct line to the Big Beard Battery team, who personally supported their installation and can provide help down the road.
Work, Learn & Relax
The Big Beard Battery Clinic is not all work. After 5 p.m., attendees enjoy a resort-style atmosphere with a massive pool, a 15-person jacuzzi, full gym, wilderness trails and 24-hour laundry facilities. Meals often turn into group fellowship, and the week ends with Todd’s famous brisket cookout before new friends head off-grid with their newly installed RV power systems.
