Lightspeed & Forest River Announce Major Unit Import Integration
Lightspeed, a leading dealer management system (DMS) for the RV industry, announced the launch of its new Forest River Major Unit Import integration. This groundbreaking advancement will dramatically streamline how dealers add new Forest River units into inventory, Lightspeed said in a release, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and accuracy in the RV industry.
Previously, adding a single Forest River unit manually could take up to 10 minutes — requiring users to enter detailed vehicle and option information by hand. With this new integration, that process now takes under two minutes — an over 80% reduction in time per entry — while eliminating manual data entry altogether. Information now flows directly from Forest River into Lightspeed, improving both speed and accuracy.
“This is a game changer for our Forest River dealers,” said Jeremy Johnson, associate director of OEM business development at Lightspeed. “After hearing how much time dealers were spending on manual entries, we focused on building an easier, faster way to work. This integration saves roughly 80% of the time per entry—giving dealers back hours each month to focus on what matters most: their customers.”
The integration underscores Forest River’s ongoing leadership in both market share and dealer support innovation, Lightspeed said.
