What stands out the most to you about this model?
The thing that stands out the most about the Wedge 266BH is the front profile and how that design creates extra room and storage up front. It’s a seamless, cornerless design that makes it easier to tow and reduces drag. There are many unique and new features on this model that set it apart, like the wide-track axles for better handling and stability, the NORCO frame and spring hangers for strength and precision, and the all-composite, no-wood walls and floors with aluminum framing. With its distinctive design and layout, it allows the consumer to have a coach that’s 3 to 5 feet shorter without losing any functions or features. It’s easier to tow, easier to park and takes up less space at the campground.
Why do you think customers will like it?
Customers will like it because they’re getting everything they would have in a trailer that’s 3 to 5 feet longer, but in a shorter length that will fit into most campgrounds under 30 feet. They’ll appreciate the price, the weight, the look and how easy and stable it is to tow thanks to the aerodynamic design. They’ll also enjoy the comfort and space of the new comfort lounge, which lets them relax without feeling cramped even in a shorter unit. They’ll notice the quality too, with solid-surface countertops, no press membrane and no wood in the floors or walls. It all comes together to give them a dependable, comfortable and relaxing experience.
What has the response been thus far?
The response has been incredibly positive. The uniqueness of the product stands out. I try to be a few steps ahead of the game. Dealers are excited about the price point being available in popular floorplans with unique twists and the upgraded value of the components. It’s giving them something to sell that is not just a copycat and all about price.
