Trek Systems To Host Victron Energy Hands-on Training

Trek Systems announced it will host a two-day hands-on Victron Training in Denver, Colorado, held Feb. 23-24. During this two-day hands-on training, attendees will work in small groups to commission and troubleshoot common system configurations, utilizing various Victron components.

This training is designed to introduce new installers to Victron’s product line and allow seasoned Victron experts to enhance their skills, Trek Systems said. 16 credit hours towards Level 3 RVTI certification will be awarded upon successful completion of this training.

Learning Objectives

  • Design considerations for lithium battery systems
  • How to choose between various Victron BMSes
  • Installing and programming common Victron components including:
    • DC-DC Chargers
    • Solar Charge Controllers
    • Battery Monitors
    • Battery Protects
    • Inverter/Chargers (both single and split-phase configuration)
    • Cerbo GX and VRM for remote monitoring and control
  • Practical troubleshooting
  • Advanced programming including:
    • Active cooling
    • Charger prioritization
    • Temperature and Tank sensor integration

    Monday, Feb. 23, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Tuesday, Feb. 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Refreshments provided:
    Bagels and coffee in the morning, lunch in the afternoon
