NHTSA Lists Weekly Recalls

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following weekly vehicular recalls:

Winnebago Towable is recalling certain 2026 Access travel trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) may not be listed on the certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.” Winnebago’s number for this recall is 44448204.

Grand Design RV is recalling certain 2026 Solitude and Lineage equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail. Grand Design’s number for this recall is 910055/M910056.

Grand Design RV is also recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes. The seat base on the driver and front passenger seat may have been improperly tightened, causing the base to become loose. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.” Grand Design’s number for this recall is M910057.

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles. The engine crossmember may not be secured properly, which can cause the engine to shift and possibly result in a loss of drive power or brake failure. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S04.

Ford Motor Company is also recalling certain 2026 E-Transit vehicles. Bolts inside the high-voltage battery pack may be missing washers, which can cause high electrical resistance or electrical arcing. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S05.

Ember Recreational Vehicles is recalling certain 2026 E-Series and Overland Series travel trailers. The incorrect Unloaded Vehicle Weight and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) information may be listed on the Federal Certification Label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.” The NHTSA ID Number is 26V065000.
