KOA To Host Annual Buyer’s Workshop in Nashville
Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) will host its annual KOA Buyer’s Workshop April 10-12 at the Nashville KOA Resort, offering prospective campground owners an in-depth introduction to campground ownership and the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts.

Through in-depth sessions, attendees will explore key considerations when buying a campground, hear firsthand from franchise operators and partners in insurance and financing, and gain insight into outdoor hospitality trends and the campground purchase process, KOA said in a release. The workshop will also cover the unique insurance needs of campgrounds and include a behind-the-scenes tour of the campground for an up-close look at daily operations.
“For many people, buying a campground is a lifelong dream, but understanding the path to purchase can be intimidating,” said Larry Brownfield, assistant vice president of franchise development services for KOA. “Our Buyer’s Workshop gives prospective owners a chance to really see what goes into the business, ask questions and walk away with a clearer sense of the opportunity and the support KOA can provide along the way.”
For more than 60 years, KOA has served as the definitive leader in outdoor hospitality, helping campground owners grow their businesses through trusted brand recognition, industry-leading technology and comprehensive operational support, the company said. From the earliest stages of acquisition exploration through long-term campground performance, KOA equips both prospective and current owners with the expertise and tools needed to thrive.
The strength of the KOA brand continues to resonate with campers across North America. According to KOA research, six in 10 campers say they look to KOA first when deciding where to camp, a reflection of the visibility and trust behind the iconic Big Yellow Sign.
The workshop will be held at the Nashville KOA Resort at 2626 Music Valley Drive. The registration deadline for the KOA Buyer’s Workshop is March 20. Those interested in learning more about owning a KOA campground and registering for the event can find additional information at the workshop event website or call 406-709-3536.
