Yakima introduced a new wave of hitch-mounted bike racks, truck bed systems and purpose-built accessories designed to make transport simpler, faster and more intuitive for riders and overlanders alike.
Anchored by the all-new StepUp, StepUp Swing, an updated HoldUp and the special edition OverHaul Shadow Edition, the spring ’26 lineup strengthens Yakima’s core categories while expanding premium and enthusiast-focused options across both cycling and truck segments, the company said in a release.
The collection focuses on one clear theme: easier access. From integrated swing-away functionality to tool-assisted install solutions and modular truck-bed storage, each product is engineered to remove friction for consumers while creating compelling retail stories for specialty dealers.
StepUp Swing brings full-featured platform performance together with an integrated swing-away arm, allowing riders to access the rear of the vehicle with or without bikes loaded, Yakima said. The rack tilts, folds flat when not in use and installs securely using Yakima’s SpeedWedge system. It accommodates wheelbases up to 52 inches and tires up to 4.5 inches wide.
StepUp delivers the same sleek, heavy-duty design in a streamlined, fixed configuration. Available in both 2-inch and 1.25-inch options, it offers easy loading, three-position tilt access and compatibility with Yakima hitch accessories for added versatility.
The updated HoldUp remains Yakima’s dependable, lightweight platform option for recreational riders, the company said. Folding wheel cradles improve storage and access, while intuitive front-wheel loading and expanded wheelbase and tire compatibility support modern bikes and heavier eMTBs.
The StepUp, StepUp Swing and updated HoldUp are available now.
For truck and overland customers, Yakima is introducing the OverHaul Shadow Edition, a serialized, limited-edition take on the brand’s OverHaul HD platform. The bundle includes HD Bars, newly adjustable MOLLE panels and a premium finish, along with a complimentary OnX mapping subscription. The rack adjusts from 19 to 30 inches and supports up to 500 pounds on-road and 300 pounds off-road. Shadow Edition will be available in early Q2.
Additionally, JayLow has been updated with a snazzier new look and has an increased weight rating of 100 pounds for a single boat, and 130 pounds for two boats in stacker mode.
To support the broader ecosystem, Yakima is also adding:
- FlipFlop Hitch Adapter offering rise or drop positioning for better rack fit
- BookMark Hitch Accessory to guide bolt alignment for faster installs
- Adjustable Awning Bracket with 95mm of height adjustment for shade and clearance solutions
These add-ons simplify installation, reduce returns and give retailers easy attach opportunities at checkout, Yakima said.
