The first production units of the Roamer X have landed, and ROA Off-Road will begin delivering them to owners in October.
The Roamer X is built in America by Pause and sold exclusively through ROA Off-Road. It is one of the most capable, most complete off-road trailers the company has ever offered, ROA Off-Road said.
“I remember thinking, wouldn’t it be incredible if we built an off-road trailer? No one in America was doing it, and I didn’t know how to manufacture. I was just selling RVs. Now, after almost four years working with Pause, we designed the Roamer X together, and the first units are here,” said Shane Stauffer, founder and CEO of ROA Off-Road.
Key features include:
- Power: 3,160 watts of total solar, a 2,160Ah lithium battery bank and dual 3,000-watt inverters running full 50-amp service, built for extended off-grid stays.
- Climate: AquaHot combi heat and unlimited hot water, dual 18,000-Btu air conditioners, and an altitude rating of 10,000 feet.
- Chassis: MORryde aluminum frame with air suspension, 12 inches of suspension travel and an 11,000-pound GVWR.
- Living space: Private bedroom with king or split-single beds; full indoor kitchen plus full outdoor kitchen; leather recliners; ceiling-mounted projector with pull-down screen; enlarged mid-ship bathroom; 65 gallons of fresh water.
The first 25 trailers are Founders Edition builds, starting at $199,995. Each includes $24,500 in perks and upgrades at no extra cost, including 10 years of Roamer Rally access, a Founders Club adventure, five years of free annual inspections and a $2,000 upgrade credit. After the first 25 are delivered, the Founders Edition ends.
Owners can take delivery at any of ROA Off-Road’s four Experience Centers in Utah, Arizona, Colorado and South Carolina.
