Fiddlers’ RV Park Reopens Near Death Valley National Park

On Oct. 16, The Oasis at Death Valley will re-open Fiddlers’ RV Park, bringing updates including revitalized landscaping and clearly defined sites to the destination designed for travelers who want to bring the freedom of RV travel into one of America’s most extraordinary landscapes.
With just 31 RV sites, the revitalized Fiddlers’ offers a secluded camping experience just steps from the amenities and experiences of The Oasis at Death Valley.
“The Fiddlers’ experience is designed for travelers who see RV ownership as more than transportation,” said Timothy Schoonover, chief operating officer for Xanterra Travel Collection. “It offers a way for travelers to explore farther, stay longer and create lasting memories along the road.”
Fiddlers’ RV Park is intentionally intimate, giving RV travelers a sense of space and escape that can be difficult to find at larger campgrounds. Each of the 31 sites features a private patio and picnic table, creating a personal outdoor setting for morning coffee, evening meals and quiet moments between adventures.
Guests also enjoy easy access to the distinctive amenities of The Oasis at Death Valley, including its natural spring-fed swimming pool, tennis, shuffleboard, volleyball, bocce ball and basketball courts, restaurants and General Store. Shower facilities are located at The Ranch’s pool. Furnace Creek Golf Course sits directly next to the campground, offering the chance for a uniquely memorable round of golf on the lowest elevation golf course in the world.
Fiddlers’ accommodates a range of RV lifestyles, from spacious large back-in sites and convenient pull-through sites to compact spaces suited to camper vans and truck campers. An ADA-accessible site is also available. Sites do not include water, sewer or electrical hookups. Wi-Fi is anticipated to be available at the campground later this year as part of an ongoing service upgrade.
For RV travelers, the experience begins with the journey itself: winding roads, dramatic desert horizons and the anticipation of discovering a landscape unlike anywhere else. Just two hours from Las Vegas and a little more than four hours from Los Angeles, Death Valley National Park spans more than 3.4 million acres, encompassing salt flats, sand dunes, volcanic landscapes and vast stretches of open desert. After a day of exploration, Fiddlers’ RV Park provides an opportunity to return to camp, gather around the central fire pit and share stories beneath expansive desert skies.
