Forest River, DealerRock Announce Integration To Automate Inventory

Forest River and DealerRock announced a new system integration that takes manual inventory management between dealers and Forest River to the next level.
RV dealers running DealerRock can now authorize Forest River to automatically access their inventory and sold units, reducing administrative work so dealerships can spend more time serving customers. Once a dealer turns it on, there’s nothing left to do.
Sold units are communicated automatically once the deal is finalized, ensuring that warranty coverage begins immediately for the customer and that their information is accurate.
Dealers stay in control of what information is shared and when. A dealer group turns the integration on for the company, then enables it store by store, rolling it out on their own schedule, in their own way.
“We’re always looking for ways to make our dealer partners’ days easier, and continuing to build integrations with leading DMS partners like DealerRock is a big part of that. Less time on admin work means more time with customers, and that’s what matters,” said James Gingerich, director of business intelligence for Forest River.
“Every minute spent re-keying information into a manufacturer’s portal is a minute that is not going to a customer. With real-time modern technology, that reporting simply happens — the unit is sold in DealerRock, and Forest River has it. Our goal at DealerRock is to apply this modern technology to everything we do so our dealers get that time back and put it into the customer experience, and the factory ends up with better information than traditional processes could produce. Creating these synergies is what modern DMS software should just do,” said Jason Haines, founder and managing director of DealerRock.
The Forest River integration is available now to DealerRock dealers carrying Forest River brands. Dealers can request activation through DealerRock support or their DealerRock account contact — there’s nothing to install and no change to how the dealership works day to day in DealerRock.
