Australia’s Dream Haven RV Seeks Expansion With US Dealers
Dream Haven RV, built by Crusader Caravans, Australia’s second-largest Australian-made caravan manufacturer and its most independently awarded manufacturer, is inviting RV dealers across the United States to discover a different approach to RV manufacturing at the 2026 SEMA Show, Nov. 3–6, at West Hall, Booth 61001.
With a growing range of compact overlanders, a recently introduced family-friendly bunkhouse and a full-size RV range planned for early 2027, Dream Haven RV is actively developing its U.S. dealer network and looking to connect with dealers who want to offer their customers something genuinely different, the company said.
At the heart of Dream Haven RV is a manufacturing philosophy shaped by Australia’s demanding travel conditions. The range features full composite construction using closed-cell XPS insulation, paired with a galvanized Australian steel chassis and air suspension. The composite construction and chassis are designed and manufactured by sister companies Creative Composites and Intel Engineering, respectively, providing direct oversight and in-house quality control across critical structural components.
Summer Salvato, head of special projects and U.S. development for Crusader Caravans and Dream Haven RV, is directly involved in the manufacturing operation, spending time on the factory floor daily. Having lived in Australia for 20 years while growing up in Utah and Vermont, Salvato brings a personal understanding of both Australian manufacturing and the outdoor lifestyle that is central to the American RV market.
“We want American RV dealers and customers to experience what genuine Australian engineering and manufacturing can deliver. We’re not simply putting an Australian name on a product manufactured elsewhere. Our construction is backed by real manufacturing capability, engineering expertise and quality control within our own group of companies,” said Salvato.
Dream Haven RV initially introduced its compact overlanders to the U.S. market, bringing Australian design and construction to customers looking for adventure-ready recreational vehicles.
The latest addition is a versatile bunkhouse featuring either two or three six-foot bunks, a dedicated dining area and a flexible main bed that converts from twin to queen. Designed to make the most of its interior space, the bunkhouse offers families a practical combination of sleeping capacity, comfort and functionality.
The standard specification includes, but is not limited to:
-
Full composite construction with closed-cell XPS insulation.
-
Galvanized Australian steel chassis and air suspension.
-
690 watts of solar power.
-
3kW inverter and heated lithium battery.
-
Smart TV and 5.3-cubic-foot refrigerator.
-
Large wet bath with full-length mirror.
-
Reversing camera system with Bluetooth connectivity and display screen.
-
Generous storage throughout.
-
Bespoke interior design.
-
Metal-sided, soft-close drawers and sturdy struts on cabinetry.
Portable induction cooking is also available as an option which is becoming increasingly popular. The focus is on combining robust construction with thoughtful details and a high level of standard equipment, giving dealers a distinctive product story to take to their customers, the company said.
Dream Haven RV is looking to establish relationships with dealers who recognize the value of offering something outside the conventional RV lineup. Salvato believes that understanding the customer and the conditions in which an RV will be used is fundamental to building a better product.
“Having grown up in Utah and Vermont, I understand the American outdoors and the expectations of people who want to get out there and explore. I’ve spent 20 years in Australia and have experienced the Australian Outback firsthand towing RV’s around this beautiful country, and I see firsthand, every day on our factory floor, the work that goes into building these RVs. I want to bring that experience together to offer American customers a product that delivers on its promise, not just in how it looks, but in how it’s engineered and built,” said Salvato.
For dealers, the opportunity is to represent a brand with a clear identity, a distinctive manufacturing story and a product designed around structural construction, practical features and adventure. Dream Haven RV is encouraging prospective dealer partners to meet the team at SEMA to explore the range, discuss the U.S. market, and learn about opportunities to represent the brand.
Full-Size RV Range Planned for Early 2027
Dream Haven RV is preparing to introduce a full-size RV range to the American market in early 2027. Designed with demanding terrain and adventurous travel in mind, the new range will extend the brand’s Australian engineering philosophy into a larger RV platform.
Dealers interested in future models and representation are encouraged to make contact now as Dream Haven RV continues to develop its U.S. presence.
“If you’re ready to provide your customers with a true-blue Aussie-built RV, it’s time to talk Dream Haven RV. We’re excited about what we’re bringing to the American market, and we’re looking for the right dealer partners to help us build the brand. Come and see what we’re doing, ask us the hard questions, and experience the difference for yourself,” Salvato said.
