Gently Used RVs announced the launch of gentlyusedrvs.com, an online marketplace for new and used RVs from private sellers and dealers. The marketplace is built on a community of 470,000-plus members across eight Facebook RV groups that Gently Used RVs and its founder Chris Allen administer, Gently Used RVs said in a recent release.
Gently Used RVs covers eight-plus RV types: pop-ups, truck campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and Class A, Class B and Class C motorhomes. Buyers can browse listings from private sellers and dealers in one place. Private sellers can finish a complete listing in about 30 seconds, the company said.
“People in our RV groups kept running into the same problems on general classifieds — scams, fake listings, thin photos and no real reach. Gently Used RVs is the marketplace we built so private sellers and dealers can list in one place that’s built around that community, with 470,000-plus members across our groups and eight-plus RV types,” said Allen.
Free for Private Sellers
Private sellers can list an RV for free. Optional paid upgrades are available for sellers who want more visibility.
A Straightforward Dealer Subscription
Dealers pay one subscription per lot, with no per-unit fee and no commission. Pricing is published and self-serve, with no sales call, Gently Used RVs said.
Plans start with Starter — $0 for the first 90 days, then $99 per month (card required at sign-up) — and go up to Growth and Pro. Launch pricing for the first 50 dealer lots locks in the rate for as long as they stay subscribed. Details are at gentlyusedrvs.com/for-dealers.
Community-First, With Scam Awareness Built In
RV buyers and sellers are frequent targets of online scams. Gently Used RVs said it draws on the habits of its member community to keep scam awareness front and center. Suspicious listings or messages can be flagged to [email protected].
“We’re not trying to be the loudest listing site. We want sellers and buyers to feel like they’re dealing somewhere that takes trust seriously — clear listings, practical scam awareness, and a community that looks out for each other,” Allen said.
