RV Industry Association’s January survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 42,441, an increase of 25.3 percent from the 33,859 units shipped last January. The January 2018 shipment total is the best January on comparable record.
All towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, totaled 36,322 units for the month, an increase of 26.6 percent compared to last January’s towable RV shipment total of 28,931. January motorhome shipments begin the year up 18.1 percent compared to last January with 5,819 wholesale shipments being reported.
