American Family RV, with locations in Chesapeake and Salem, Va., has completed development of its third location in the state with the opening of American Family RV of Fredericksburg.
Located on three-plus acres on U.S. Route 1 in Fredericksburg, American Family RV offers sales, service, and parts for the local Fredericksburg area, with reach to Richmond, and Northern Virginia markets. Easy access off mile marker 126 Spotsylvania/Massaponax exit on Interstate 95.
“The opportunity to open up in Fredericksburg was fueled by three things, the ability to get great product lines from companies such as Venture RV, Coachmen, Thor and Gulfstream, the ability to hire a seasoned leadership team and sales staff that worked for me in the past and the fact we knew we had a fantastic location in a prime market available to us,” said Steve Deffenbaugh, VP of American Family RV. “In this age of acquisitions and consolidations by the large public groups, we hear daily at all our stores how nice it is to have a choice to make a purchase or get service with local owners and feel like they are being treated as part of the family.”
This expansion completes a long year of planning and execution by American Family RV to be able to offer sales and service to the American Family RV customer base throughout the state of Virginia.
