Hundreds Gather for Redwood Owners’ Group Rally
More than 200 people gathered at the Shipshewana South Park Campground in Indiana the week of July 16 for the Redwood Owners’ Group National Rally. Now in its seventh year, this annual event welcomed 88 Redwood RVs and more than a dozen soon-to-be Redwood owners.
For five days, Redwood enthusiasts visited with 16 vendors, attended seminars, and met with CrossRoads’ Redwood leadership team to hear about the future of the brand, provide valuable product development insights, and answer owners’ questions as they were read aloud in a town-hall type session. Attendees were also treated to a tour of the Redwood manufacturing facility.
This year’s theme from Redwood management was “Redwood is a customer-focused brand.”
“Without you, our Redwood owners, we wouldn’t be here today,” said Ryan Juday, president of Redwood/CrossRoads RV, as he welcomed the group. “We have an obligation to provide the best possible communications from our team to you. This starts before the sale, resonates through our dealer network, and never ends. We are here to help and drive communications throughout your Redwood ownership.”
Juday’s comments were echoed by Tim Cress the Redwood product manager. Cress presented how some innovations come from the owners’ group and are then reviewed for possible implementation into future designs. Cress gave examples of how this interaction with customers has helped build the brand.
Situated in the heart of Amish country and a short walk to one of the Midwest’s largest auctions, attendees were kept busy with a poker night, beanbag tournament, campfire gatherings, countless meals, and a feeling of community.
The rally ended on Friday with meal catered by Redwood RV.
